Appealing Apale Falls and Buenavista - L and L Cove

"So far, for me, this was the best side trip ever! Not minding the heat and hitch basta lang enjoy sa padulngan."

The Appealing Apale Falls of Isabel, Leyte

We haven't heard about this place before and so as Google map hasn't been updated yet, so seeing our next destination have 50/50 chances. Relying on our charm, asking directions along the way is very easy. Yes, the place does exist! we were relieved when we saw a big sign welcoming us saying 'Happy Fiesta Brgy Apale! ( mamista unya ta adto).

Jump into its heart-shaped turquoise pool!
We thought that this is just an ordinary waterfall but we were surprised because this was our first time encountering a falls so milky and blue (referring to turquoise color). We don't know how it turns like that, but one thing for sure, this unique attraction may be the reason why this place is a well visited by both local (sila) and foreign tourists (kami ni :-D ).
Mystical!

A sidetrip to Buenavista - L and L Cove.
(Apr. 23, 2017 12:45pm – unplanned)

While we're still baffled on why's Apale falls is blue (nga mura namig scientist gaduki), a bunch of tourists is started flocking in - so we decided a detour and headed up west to a secluded coast of Buenavista, Palompon, Leyte. Though unexpected road incident did cease us for a quite of time (naplatan ra gud), it didn't restrain our feet from going 'coz were destined to reach the place. haha! and that would be all credited to 'Kuya Vulcanizing' who taught us an alternative, short and affordable ride that would fetch us to our next destination via sea trip from Isabel port.

This place is not a beach. You can't find a long stretch of sand here but rocks! Hundreds of rock formation at great sizes are naturally piled up adding the grandest view that makes this kilometer coastline very appealing for such activities like rock climbing, snorkeling, cliff jumping and kayaking (tanan nga ing..)
That makes this site very interesting.
