This promising place I fell in-love with offers both adventure and tranquility combined. The strip of a beach has interesting rock formations on both edges while in the middle lays a quieter stretch of sandy beach. I’ve found love in this place! Believe me. If you want adventure and at the same time de-stressing oneself from the daily hustle of life, I would recommend venturing out to this secluded Pulambato beach of barangay Libagong, Villaba, Leyte. Why? Because this less-known attraction of Villaba is still off-the-plan from the tourists’ bucket list, I can guarantee you that you can thoroughly enjoy a getaway in a more peaceful atmosphere away from noise, pollution, crowd, and swarming nega-vibes.   Now, here are a good spots that you shouldn’t miss. 1. Inside has a small area probably 3 meters wide to rest in and a good place for refuge during rain and scorching midday s

"Finally, I'll be able to visit the island I've always wanted to see."  We started our whole-day island trip from Durano Port in Tabango, Leyte and we sailed off across the Visayan Sea for almost 2 hours. The corals and the fishes were in a festive display. The Maria islet We then proceeded to sail aro

Include this one secluded island in your summer's bucket list! Dawahon Island - Tabango Leyte The Dawahon island is a tiny, triangle-shaped islet with rocky shores stretching a 500 meters in circumference. The island is called Dawahon because of the  dáwa-dáwa  grass (cockspur grass) that abounds in the center. There is a tiny sandy beach at the eastern tip where its crystal clear water is perfect for swimming and snorkeling, while some parts are good for cliff jumping. Dawahon island is located 1 mile west of Burabod in Brgy Inangatan, Tabango, Leyte, and can be reached by boat that would sail 15 minutes from Burabod, 20 minutes from Libagong, or 30 minutes if your ride is from Tabango or Villaba port.  There are only two cottages for rent in the island which costs 500 and 900 pesos respectively. But, if there are no vacant cottages, you can look for a good spot around the island. There's this spot at the northern side that has a relaxing ambiance where you can have a picnic u
