Sunsets in Bondari Peak

It's a magnificent experience to watch the sunset from Bondari Peak. That is why I always come here, just to see the beauty of the sunset and relax on the hill. Even after a tiring trek to reach the summit, especially when you take the Abijao trail, one can really tell how magnificent the relieving effect of the sundown time.

There's something about it that makes the hike complete. A sunset, according to psychologists, can improve well-being, generosity, and life happiness, and I couldn't agree more because I've witnessed its magnificence many times. Its sky transition from gold to red refines the experience and does release a feel-good hormone which is the serotonin that boosts the mood and will help me feel calm and focused.

Sunsets are all special. Every day. So come with me one day as we take on a journey that we can't forget. The sight from above is just wonderful and the breathtaking horizon around will make you stop, sit, and wish to watch it all over again.

Since the outbreak crisis erupted, municipalities are in lockdown which opted some of my co-hikers to "hibernate" from nature trips. I missed being their tour guide and like them, I missed the mountains too. I know it is almost impossible to get here in Villaba for now and since we are not sure when this pandemic will end, here I just have to post some photos that hopefully will enlighten them a bit from missing mountains and sunsets.

Hope we'll have an amazing trek here real soon.

The setting sun as it passes the strip of thin clouds. The dark object in the ocean is Kalanggaman Island.
